Topics in this category need to be send.as.newsletter to have everyone notified.

Only moderators can do this. The reason is to prevent people from being spammed with emails they don’t want.

Moderators should send newsletters anything anyone ostsmhere that is urgent.

Oh, so this site is controlling alert postings - have to contact moderator and get it approved (sounds too familiar)?

We don’t want accidental posts being sent out as alerts. Not to censor anything.
